As a student, I was capable of becoming a keen, well-disciplined girl winning the heart of everybody. I was able to overcome all the challenges and became an all-rounder with the support and opportunities given by the College.
I bow my head in gratitude for treating me as their daughter which was the greatest blessing in my life. The guidance, support, advice, and knowledge given by all the teachers and principals have made me who I am today. The dream of becoming a teacher at my very own school initiated when I was schooling, after seeing the dedication of all my beloved teachers who helped me to become the best version of myself. Thereafter, I was lucky to join the Sussex family again, as a teacher and serve my school. I was fortunate to join Sussex College Nugegoda as the 63rd student and finally became the Head Prefect in the school. From the 22nd of January, 2004 to the 01st of December 2014 was the best part of my life.
